Kylie Minogue for the first time on a stage in Barcelona
Last Saturday 12th of March, the current goddess of pop, Kylie Minogue, offered a great performance at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona. The heavy rain did not prevent Kylie’s fans from going up Montjuic under their umbrellas and stepping on fresh mud, to get to Palau Sant Jordi stadium and see their Aphrodite.
It was the first time that Kylie Minogue had given a concert in Spain. Spanish fans had never had the chance to see her live on a Spanish stage. Therefore, they could not miss such a yearned appointment. Fans from all over Spain and other countries came to Barcelona and had one of the best and intense two hours of their lives.
Palau Sant Jordi gave shelter to all the lovers who enjoyed Aphrodite’s surprising show on a rainy but magical night. The stage was turned into a Greek temple where characters from the Olympus sang, danced, fought and flew around the magnificent voice and image of their goddess Kylie. Her fans had a lot of fun and sang along catchy songs like ‘I can’t get out of my head’ or ‘All the lovers’.
Among the audience, a special guest was being delighted by Aphrodite’s spectacular performance. Who was that special guest? It was Kylie’s boyfriend! The Spanish model Andres Velencoso was there. Kylie announced he was there, went to him, lied on the floor and… kissed him! How romantic! Love was in the air and the audience went crazy.
By the way, did you know that Kylie spends some time in Tossa de Mar? Her boyfriend is from this town on the Costa Brava, next to other beautiful towns such as Lloret or Roses. Do you think they went to Tossa after the concert?
Kylie Minogue’s fans did forget about the rain but they will never forget the amazing experience they lived at Palau Sant Jordi with their Aphrodite.
